TED-Ed Review:
The TED-Ed Website tour was very cool. I have just started a Youtube Channel this year, so I am going to use this to go embed my selections into a TED-Ed. I've really just started so this is great that I learned about this now. Thank you!
I haven't been able to upload my screencast on Jing to Youtube, so I am still working on that one. I know how to upload a video, so I guess I can just film my screencast and upload it as a work-around, but I was hoping that Youtube button would work and it doesn't.
UPDATE: I learned that Jing no long has the automatic update feature to upload directly to Youtube. I had to install SNAGIT and then I was able to create a screencast and then directly upload it to Youtube.
Zaption Tutorial Review:
So many new tools! I loved Zaption, too! I have to say, I kept having to focus on the purpose of the tutorial because my mind just kept going to the Parthenon marbles. What were they? Who took them and why? Obviously, this is an engaging technology and you could use it as an "into" to build interest, as part of research or building background knowledge in a PBL, or also as an assessment tool as this tutorial demonstrated. I dont' really have any questions about it, but I just need to play around and practice in it to get my questions.
